Everything is fine!

How often do you lie to yourself about your current situation. We say "everything is FINE" all the time. But is it? Is everything truly ok? How often do we really reflect on our overall health? Most of my life is spent chasing the most urgent need. Maybe it is a physical issue, mental issue, or maybe an emotional issue. What ever the issues are, the control my time.

How often are we aware of our spiritual health? How is your faith journey? Is everything fine?

10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. John 10:10

This popular verse reveals that God's design is for us to have abundant life with Him. Do you fill that? Is that how you would describe your current situation?

If you want to live an abundant life, you have to set the foundation for that. You will not accidentally find abundant living. Psalm 1 teaches :

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers;but his delight is in the law of the Lord,  and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;for the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.

What would your life look like if your delight was on the Law (Word) of the Lord? How different would your overall health be if you set your life around the scripture?

We all want to prosper. We all want to fill like we are winning at life. Why don't you focus this year on living God's way. See if that changes things for you. See if your whole life doesn't begin to improve. Remove the things that this world says should be important, and focus on walking with Jesus!

This is my goal this year. I want to seek first the Kingdom of God.
