This is the day

Psalms 118:24 This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

The Bible teaches us that today was crafted by God. Everything necessary for life to happen today was given by God. The fact that you opened your eyes to read this blog post was a gift from God for you. Enjoy today as a gift. The Psalmist is calling us to rejoice and be glad in it.

It is easy in this world to get caught in the rut of mundane life. Doing the same thing over and over can lead us to not rejoice or be glad. Resist this at all costs. Know that each day was given to you. Make the most of it. Conquer the day for the Glory of His Kingdom. Use each day to worship God and serve others. So if you are locked inside your home or at a job you do not like, count it a blessing. Count it a blessing that you have a home and a job. We get so focused on the here and now that we struggle to rejoice. We struggle to see the big picture of what God is doing in our day.

Instead of struggling with what you do not have, rejoice in what God has blessed you with. This thinking will change your day. You will see just how amazing God truly is. I challenge you to make each day count.
