So, how is it going? As young adults, we all dream about what our future will be like. Houses, spouses. children, 401k, etc. How is that working for you? When was the last time that you were honest about your life?
This life we get to live is a gift from God, but it is not designed to fulfill us. Only Jesus can satisfy our existence. Life moves so fast. We are here today and we are gone tomorrow. With life being so brief, I want to focus on what really matters. Nothing is more paramount than being obedient and faithful before a Holy God. Wisdom teaches that this is the only thing that satisfies our souls. King Solomon taught in the book of Ecclesiastes, That the greatest way to live is to Know God and enjoy His blessings.
Knowing God is different than knowing about God. Knowing God is receiving the adoption from God to be His Child. Jesus teaches that for us to truly know God, we must be Born Again. When we come into the right relationship with God, we will be fulfilled. It will change everything about us. Jesus changes our perspective, our focus, and our desires. Jesus gives us an eternal mindset. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we get to slowly become more like Him through our sanctification.
So, What am I doing?
I hope you are investing in what really matters in this life. I hope you are seeking Jesus!
